Matthew G. Christ

Matt Christ serves as a Director, Capital Markets with Source Capital, Ltd.  Mr. Christ provides capital markets support for companies seeking to complete mezzanine or equity recapitalizations to fund business growth or shareholder liquidity needs.

Mr. Christ has about 14 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, spending the majority of his time in Capital Markets sales and marketing roles.  Prior to joining Source, Mr. Christ was a director in the institutional sales group of Merrill Lynch’s Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities division.  In his capacity at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Christ was responsible for the distribution of taxable fixed income products, derivatives and managed fund products to an array of institutional clients.  Mr. Christ’s clients included prominent hedge funds, institutional money managers and multi-national banks.

Prior to his sales role, Mr. Christ was responsible for the marketing and product development of certain derivatives and derivative products.  Additionally at Merrill, Mr. Christ had several years of banking experience, working with institutional money managers to successfully grow assets under management through a variety of structured transactions. 

Mr. Christ’s previous work experience includes positions in Banker’s Trust’s asset securitization group and Alex. Brown’s municipal finance department.

Mr. Christ holds a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.  In addition, he holds both Series 7 and 63 licenses.  He resides in Sewickley, PA.
