G. Stanley Cutter, a FOCUS Partner, is a seasoned executive, with
over 30 years experience advising domestic and international clients
about the creation of business wealth, M&A, capital acquisition
and hedging, securities transactions and turnaround issues. Mr.
Cutter has executed transactions in several countries and led transaction
teams through complex project financings, public securities offerings
with hedges, management buyouts of corporate assets, corporate restructurings,
acquisitions, divestitures, as well as a variety of acquisition
and defensive related debt financings.
Most recently, Mr. Cutter was a Managing
Director with MASI Ltd. a boutique M&A firm serving the Midwest,
working with corporate clients and management teams seeking growth
capital, acquisitions, divestitures or turnaround advice. In addition
to several advisory and transaction engagements, he developed a
systematic approach to business wealth creation while advising clients
seeking an understanding of business value and how to grow their
businesses or seeking to create liquidity from their businesses.
Formerly, Mr. Cutter was a Senior Executive
with IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services where he completed
over 100 business valuations in addition to advising client about
capital acquisition and business divestitures. Prior to this, he
spent seven years as the CEO of Wheelchair Getaways of Illinois,
a specialty rental car company providing wheelchair accessible vehicle
to individuals, families and businesses requiring specialized transportation
for short period of time.
Previously, Mr. Cutter spent fourteen
years with Citicorp in New York, Hong Kong and Chicago and four
years with Security Pacific Merchant Bank (now Bank of America)
where he developed detailed and specialty products for hedging currency
and interest rate exposures, participated in several multi-billion
dollar acquisition financings, numerous leverage acquisition loans
and several “hedged” bond transactions.
Mr. Cutter received a B.A. in Economics
from Bowdoin College and an MBA in finance from Columbia University.
He is active in Visage, a member of the Midwest Business Brokers
Association and a former US Army officer.
