Bob Moore
Senior Advisor, Focus, LLC
Bob Moore is a partner and SVP of Planning and Business Development
at HealthAmerica Realty Group, LLC, a national medical real estate
company. Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Bob co-founded and served
as Executive Vice President of Surgicoe, an out-patient ambulatory
surgery center (ASC) management company that was acquired by United
Surgical Partners, Inc.
In 1982 Bob was also co-founder of Gates, Moore & Company,
a national physician practice management company. As President,
Bob established client relationships with more than 2,000 healthcare
providers that included national hospital systems, insurance carriers,
medical specialty societies and numerous single and multi-specialty
physician groups.
Bob is a published author of numerous articles in healthcare industry
and trade journals. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board
member for Physician Practice Journal magazine and the Institute
of Health Administration, J. Mack Robinson College of Business at
Georgia State University in Atlanta.
He is a founding board member of the Georgia Society of Ambulatory
Surgery Centers and current board member and an investor in The
Myers Group, a national health survey research firm. He also serves
as the United States Representative to the Combined Operations Center
Association in Inveraray, Scotland.
Bob attended Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts where he
received a B.S. degree in accounting and finance and a Master of
Business Administration degree. He was a Captain in the Infantry
and Military Intelligence Branches of the United States Army, serving
two tours in Vietnam as well as a tour in Taiwan and Okinawa.
