Manning J. “Jim” O’Connor II

Manning J. "Jim" O'Connor II is the Executive Counsel for HEADWATERS | SC and its subsidiary, Business Growth Alliance, LLC (BGA), and is a member of the BGA Board of Directors. Since the founding of BGA in 2005, Mr. O'Connor has been instrumental in its organization and development. He is responsible for new member affiliations, and to serve as general counsel for BGA.

Mr. O'Connor also serves on the adjunct faculty at the Duquesne University School of Law. He has lectured at Robert Morris University on the topic of business law, as well as statewide continued legal education seminars on a variety of topics. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and he was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 2005, 2010 and 2011 (Philadelphia Magazine). Mr. O'Connor is a 1983 graduate of Duquesne University Law School. He earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Duquesne University in 1980.
