Tom Paquette
Principal, The Malibu Group

As a principal of the Malibu Group, Tom manages the financial aspects of the company’s transactions. He performs extensive due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions, provides advice regarding structuring for tax and accounting issues, offers negotiation support, reviews financial statements and handles analysis.

Tom has more than 20 years of experience working with entrepreneurs, business owners and management teams helping them grow their businesses and increase their equity by providing financial guidance and direction.

Before joining The Malibu Group, he served as a financial advisor and CFO for a portfolio of companies, some with strong growth, others with financial problems. Tom added value by implementing processes that could be easily explained to managers. He was CFO of a $50 million revenue ink manufacturing company and rose through the ranks at 5/3rd Bank from credit analyst to senior banker.

Tom earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting from Miami University and holds an MBA from Xavier University.
