Paul Richey, A FOCUS Enterprises Partner and Managing Director in Los Angeles, California, is a seasoned executive with more than 40 years in investment banking and corporate business experience.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Richey served as President at Janas Associates, a boutique investment banking firm in Pasadena, CA. He led M&A activities for privately held companies in the middle market, several of which have annual revenues in excess of $250 million. He led acquisition, sale and financing engagements in manufacturing, distribution, retailing, financial services, franchising and service industries, including petroleum, aerospace, automotive service, engineering services and hospitality.

Mr. Richey was president of a commercial mortgage company lending to the hospitality industry and served as a managing director of a boutique Wall Street Investment Bank specializing in bond, structured finance, and real estate finance.

In his initial long career as a partner with the international accounting firm, KPMG, Paul led public and private M&A engagements in various industries, including financial services, hospitality, food service, manufacturing and distribution. He also served as managing partner in San Diego, CA, Rochester, NY, and as partner in charge of the accounting and auditing practice in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Richey is a CPA and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
