Tom is located in Rockville, MD just minutes from Washington DC. Tom has more than 18 years of financial and operational consulting experience. He has worked with over 120 different organizations to help them improve financial management, reduce costs and streamline purchasing across multiple departments and geographic locations. Tom is also Managing Director of Rising Point, which helps nonprofit organizations assess and strengthen the broader areas of financial management and operations . Prior to forming Rising Point, Tom was a partner in-charge of management consulting services for the national CPA firm, BDO Seidman.

Tom holds Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland, College Park, and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland. Tom has also received extensive training in quality management.

Volunteer Positions: Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chair, National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, Board of Directors (Advisor), National Youth Leadership Forum.
