Frank Slacik

Frank Slacik is Chief Financial Officer of FOCUS, responsible for all aspects of the financial management and operations of the firm. Mr. Slacik has significant experience managing the financial operations of boutique financial services firms in dynamic and growth environments, and broad experience with early stage companies domestically and internationally.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Slacik was Chief Financial Officer of JMP Securities in San Francisco, where he built the financial operations of the firm from the ground-up. JMP Securities is a $100 million institutional broker-dealer and hedge fund manager with middle-market investment banking, equity sales & trading, proprietary equity research, and asset management operations.

Previously, Mr. Slacik was President of StockPower Online Capital, a brokerage subsidiary of StockPower, Inc., was Financial Controller for Citibank in Prague, Czech Republic, and held financial management positions in the retail, international and corporate banking businesses of Bank of America. Mr. Slacik began his career with Arthur Andersen, earning his CPA certification in California.

Mr. Slacik received his MBA degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he also taught accounting classes, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
